South Africa Tour of Namibia Match Prediction and Tips
The South Africa Tour of Namibia 2026 brings the two African neighbours together for a historic three-match ODI series from 9 to 13 September 2026. All three matches will be played at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek, with the series forming the second part of South Africa's multi-format visit to Namibia.
The ODI series follows the Namibia T20I Tri-Series, which also featured Zimbabwe and ran from 28 August to 6 September. South Africa won the T20I tri-series final against Zimbabwe on September 6, giving the Proteas plenty of momentum heading into the 50-over matches against Namibia.
This ODI series is particularly significant because it will be the first-ever bilateral ODI series between Namibia and South Africa. The matches also provide valuable preparation for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027, which will be co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
South Africa will field a relatively young squad, with Bjorn Fortuin appointed captain for the tour. The squad includes exciting prospects such as Dewald Brevis, Lhuan-dré Pretorius, Jordan Hermann, Connor Esterhuizen and Kwena Maphaka, while experienced players such as Fortuin and Jason Smith provide additional stability.
Namibia will be looking to carry the confidence gained from their T20I campaign into the ODI series. Playing all three matches at home should give the Eagles an important advantage, while their familiarity with conditions in Windhoek could make this a closer contest than the difference in international experience suggests.
For bettors, the series offers several interesting markets beyond the match winner, including top batter, top bowler, total runs and player performance markets.

Today Match Prediction NAM vs SA
India and Sri Lanka enter this Test series in very different circumstances from their previous meetings.
India dominated their last Test tour of Sri Lanka in 2017, but the current Indian side is undergoing a transition. Shubman Gill is now the Test captain, while Ravindra Jadeja has become the senior figure in the bowling attack following the retirement of Ravichandran Ashwin. Jasprit Bumrah is also unavailable for this series, while Mohammed Shami is not considered fit enough for Test cricket.
India have nevertheless retained significant batting quality through KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Gill and Rishabh Pant. Devdutt Padikkal is also expected to come into the XI following the injury to B Sai Sudharsan.
Sri Lanka have not played much Test cricket recently, making this a difficult series to predict. They have played only two Tests in the last 13 months, while their limited recent schedule means there is considerable uncertainty around their current Test level.
Their biggest weapon should be spin. Prabath Jayasuriya has become Sri Lanka's leading Test wicket-taker of the decade and has an outstanding record at home, including 11 five-wicket hauls and two ten-wicket matches in 14 home Tests.
India, however, can counter Sri Lanka's spin attack with three left-arm spin options in their probable XI. Jadeja is expected to be joined by Kuldeep Yadav and Manav Suthar, giving India considerable variety.
The first Test also comes with several historic landmarks. India will play their 600th Test, becoming only the third team to reach that mark, while Galle will become the first Asian ground to host 50 Tests.

About NAM vs SA 2026
ODI Series
The South Africa Tour of Namibia 2026 consists of three ODI matches, all taking place at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek.
The ODI series begins on September 9, with the remaining matches scheduled for September 11 and September 13. All three games will start at 9:30 AM local time.
The series is part of a wider South African white-ball tour of Namibia. Before the ODIs, South Africa competed in a T20I tri-series against Namibia and Zimbabwe. The tri-series ran from August 28 to September 6 and featured seven matches, including the final.
The ODI series carries additional significance because it represents the first bilateral ODI contest between Namibia and South Africa. Both nations are also co-hosts of the 2027 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup, alongside Zimbabwe, making the series useful preparation for the global tournament.
South Africa will be captained by Bjorn Fortuin, with the selectors using the tour to provide international opportunities to several younger players. Duan Jansen received his maiden national call-up after an impressive domestic season, while Lhuan-dré Pretorius, Connor Esterhuizen and Jordan Hermann are among the other players expected to attract attention.
Namibia have considerable experience in their own ranks, led by captain Gerhard Erasmus. Their squad for the preceding tri-series included established players such as Jan Frylinck, JJ Smit, Jan-Nicol Loftie-Eaton, Ruben Trumpelmann and Bernard Scholtz, alongside several younger prospects.
