OCB's Outright Picks:
Tournament Favourite – Belfast Wolves
Belfast Wolves have assembled one of the strongest all-round squads in the competition. Glenn Maxwell leads a group that includes Devon Conway, David Miller, Paul Stirling, Mark Chapman, Chris Woakes and Mark Adair. Glasgow Cosmic have arguably the most impressive collection of overseas talent in the ETPL, with Finn Allen, Liam Livingstone, Jason Roy, Kamindu Mendis, Richie Berrington, Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi and Paul van Meekeren among their options. Their early results have been disappointing, but the squad has enough quality to improve significantly as the tournament progresses.
Dark Horse – Edinburgh Castle Rockers
Edinburgh Castle Rockers possess a strong combination of experienced international players and Scottish talent. Mitchell Santner leads a squad containing Trent Boult, Shadab Khan, Tom Curran, Mark Watt, JJ Smuts, Brandon McMullen and Ross Adair. They could become particularly dangerous if their bowling attack continues to perform in the Netherlands and Ireland.
