The Lanka Premier League returns after a one-year break following the postponement of the 2025 edition. Five franchises will The European T20 Premier League is a new franchise T20 competition involving teams representing Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands.

The inaugural tournament begins on August 26, 2026, with Rotterdam Dockers facing Amsterdam Flames in Voorburg. The league stage continues until September 17, followed by the Qualifier on September 19 and the Final on September 20.

Each franchise plays 10 league matches in a double round-robin format. The team finishing first qualifies directly for the Final, while the second- and third-placed sides meet in the Qualifier.

The competition is being played across two countries. Voorburg Cricket Club in the Netherlands hosts the first 17 matches, while Malahide Cricket Ground in Dublin hosts matches 18 to 30, the Qualifier and the Final.
